Gray to Gorgeous: Dogs Volume 1

Coloring a grayscale image can be intimidating at first, but just let your creativity flow by following the natural highlights and shadows. The image has done all of the hard work of figuring out where the lights and darks should be; use it as a guide to bring the image to life.

  1. It is disturbing to me that you have pictures I know are not yours, and one in particular is in another book published by Nicole Stocker BEFORE your book was published. How can you take credit for photos that do not belong to you?

  2. I am glad that you are looking out for other artists. I did not know that one of the images used were also used in another book, but please let me make something clear. All of the photos used in my books are either creative commons or public domain images that allow for such use under their licensing agreements. I never have and never will use an image without complying with their licensing agreements.

I take photos that allow this type of use, and optimize them for coloring and combine them into a book.

If Nicole's book has the same image then I can only assume that she has done the same thing.

If you want to check out the licensing agreements then please go to www.pixabay.com and see for yourself. That site was used in 99% of this book.
